Casa das Vinhas is situated in its own grounds of 4 acres which was once a vineyard, but is now planted with Carob Fig and Almond Trees. The villa faces the south with lovely views of the countryside and around to the mountains in the North. This is a wonderful setting for a relaxing and peaceful holiday but still within easy reach of Golf Courses and the town of Armacao de Pera with its longh sandy beach only 2km away. A hire car would be necessary due to the rural location.
The villa accommodation comprises of a large lounge and dining room equipped with Satelitte TV, DVD and music centre. Large modern kitchen fitted with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and all necessary electrical appliances. There are electric radiators throughout the villa for winter use. On the ground floor can be found a very large double bedroom with en suite shower room, and a further two twin rooms which share the main bathroom. All bedrooms have direct access to the patio and pool area. On the first floor is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom, and separate balcony over looking the pool and terrace areas.
The heated pool is approximately 8 x 5 metres and is surrounded by a large terrace area, with pool house providing dining facilities for 10 persons. The terrace is furnished with sun loungers, parasols, bbq, and an exterior shower. From the terrace there are steps leading down to the gardens below.

Local Area:
The villa is situated 35 minutes drive from Faro Airport. The nearest town being Armacao de Pera was originally a humble little fishing village, but is now a thriving holiday resort with many bars, restaurants, beach bars, shops and an excellent fish and vegetable market. The town is renowned for its wonderful 2 mile long sandy beach offering a large selection of water sports. To the West of the villa is the lovely quaint village of Porches. This pretty village is more famous as the home of three excellent restaurants ' Oleao' , 'Mister Grillo', and The Old Winery.
