Charming Spanish town house. Fully renovated to the highest standards. Situated in a prime location in the heart of the historic old town. The house has air conditioning and heating throughout and a wonderful private courtyard. Tastefully decorated to a very high standard and perfect for relaxing. A selection of english books, DVD¨s and Cd´s is available for guests as well as local papers. Wifi available.
The courtyard is perfect for outside dining and the soft perfume of the exotic plants will delight you.

We live in Altea ourselves and can arrange for shopping, airport collections and other wishes that you may have. We pride ourselves on the quality and comfort that you will experience when renting our home.

Payment Methods
To reserve the house we ask for a 250€ deposit. The final balance should be made 8 weeks before arrival.
Payment can be made by bank transfer into our Spanish French or English bank account. We do not accept cheques.

Deposit
There is a refundable 250€ secutiry deposit payable on arrival and returned to you directly when you leave the house and it has been checked for damages.

Change Over Days
Normally in the high season saturday but in the mid and low season this is flexible.

Additional Pricing Information
There is a cleaning charge of 60€ for two persons and 80€ for 4.
For longer winter lets an additional charge for the electricity may apply.
 
 
Further Details

Location type
The house is situated in a prime position in the istoric old town.. On warm summer evenings, the streets are pedestrianized and artists and craftsmen display their wares in the evening market. This village with its many little streets of immaculate white washed houses is a fascinating place to stroll . . . From the old town it's a short walk to the sea-front by any of the network of cobbled streets, many of which are adorned with bougainvillaea and jasmine. Parking a few minutes from the house

Kitchen
Our design kitchen is a delight and contains the following: Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Washing Machine, Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Toaster, Kettle, Cutlery, Plates, Bowls, Saucepans etc
Iron and ironing board. The breakfast bar is ideal for relaxing with a drink whilst chatting to the cook!

Living room
Our living room is very comfortable and there is seating for 4 persons. There is a library of english books as well as a Zeplin docking station for your Ipod. There is also a DVD player and radio.
All windows are double glazed and there is airo and heating in every room

Dining room
The dining room has a round table and seating for 4. There is also a dining table in the courtyard with 4 reclining chairs. There is a BBQ in the courtyard

Bathroom
The bathroom is outside the master bedroom on the first floor and features a massage shower, suspended toilet and washbasin . Tastefully decorated and modern. There is also a heated towel rail for the winter months.

Bedrooms
The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a large double bed, 150 x 200. All mattresses are good quality to ensure a good nights sleep. Built inwardrobe and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has two single beds and and a door leading out to the terrace with views of Altea, the church dome and the mountains. There is room for a cot. .All bed linen is provided and luxury cotton. Bath towels are provided but not beach towels. These may be rented seperately. Heating and airco throughout

Entertainment
There is a large selection of music , films and DVD’s, some board games . A library of english books and local newspapers

Outside space
The courtyard is an absolute delight. Full with large palms, exotic sweet smelling plants and herbs for cooking it is the perfect place for relaxing. All plants are on an automatic watering system. Fairy lights complete the picture in the evening. There is a BBQ for your use. The upstairs terrace is a sun trap and there are two reclining chairs plus a table and umbrella for shade.

Laundry
All sheets and twoels are changed weekly.
The washing machine is in the kitchen. There is a washing line for drying clothes.

Parking
Cars cannot drive in Calle Santo Domingo . There is ample parking space in the quiet square next to the house or in one of the surrounding streets. There is a free public car park (openair) just 3 minutes walk from the house.

Leisure facilities
There is a public tennis court and swimming pool minutes from the house. . It is also possible to use the swimming pool from nearby Hotel free of charge. This pool has direct access to the beach and its own outside bar serving coffee, soft drinks, beer and cocktails. There is a water park just 15 minutes drive away. There are many fully equipped public/private gym in Altea, just 10 minutes walk from the house.
The closest gold course is Don Cayo which is a 10 minute drive.

Restaurants
The historic old town is fully of Restaurante, and terraces. All are just a minutes walk from the house.

Distance from airports/ports
The closest airport is El Altet , Alicante. This is 50 kilometers away. Valencia is 130 kilometers away. We can arrange airport collection is you do not wish to hire a car.

Additional features
Due to the high standard to which our lovely townhouse has been renovated you will be able to enjoy the delights of the real Spain whilst having all the modern comforts.. Our 250 year old front door is open and hopes to be able to welcome you.
We do not allow smoking in the house

Suitability
Our house is not suitable for the elderly or people in a wheelchair. Very young children will need to be watched if unfamiliar with staircases.
Pets are allowed if well behaved.
