Al Andalus Thalassa is a new development in Vera Playa, a few minutes drive from the coast in the Costa del Almeria region of Andalucia in southern Spain. The development is approx 5 minutes drive from the nearest beaches at Vera Playa and approx 10 minutes from the fishing port of Garrucha with its many bars and restaurants, providing locally caught seafood. A great place to visit is Mojacar Pueblo positioned in the foot hills of the Sierra Cabrera.

Kitchen
Fully equipped modern kitchen with oven and grill, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Also comes with numerous cooking utensils and crockery for 6.

Living room
The air conditioned living/dining room is furnished with traditional Spanish style furniture and comes equipped with flat screen TV with UK channels, DVD player, 2 settees, coffee table, dining table and a ceiling fan. Patio doors lead out onto private patio and small garden. Al Andalus Thalassa also now boasts a WiFi connection.

Bathroom
Bathroom 1 – on 1st floor with bath and shower, WC, sink with vanity unit and bidet

Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 – Air conditioned room with double bed on 1st floor with patio doors leading to sun terrace. Fully fitted wardrobe space with bedside cabinets and table lamps. Also includes a cot and high chair.

Bedroom 2 – Twin bedroom on 1st floor with fully fitted wardrobe space with bedside cabinet and table lamp.

Bedroom 3 – Twin bedroom on ground floor with fully fitted wardrobe space with bedside cabinet and table lamp.

Outside space
For those that enjoy outside living, the property has its own small garden to the front and side plus a patio area with bistro table and 4 chairs. There is a large sun terrace with pergola accessed from the first floor equipped with a large table and 6 chairs. There are two outdoor pools including a children’s splash pool and a well equipped play area. There is also a heated indoor pool available during the cooler months plus gym and spa facilities.

Laundry
Towels and linen are provide. For two week bookings, towels and linen will be changed during 2 week bookings. The property will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival and at the end of your stay.

Parking
A covered parking space is provided outside the property

Leisure facilities
There are two large communal pools and a separate children’s splash pool surrounded by large landscaped areas with palm trees which provides shaded areas. Al Andalus Thalassa is suitable for both summer and winter breaks as it also boasts a small indoor fitness area with a heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and water jet circuit.

Restaurants
There are two large supermarkets close by, Mercadona and Consum. The Consum sits in a small development housing the Wok Buffet which is very popular and reasonable priced. Behind this building are various restaurants, bars and cafes which are within a 15 minute walk from the property.

Distance from airports/ports
The property is approximately 45 minutes from Almeria airport and under two hours from the airport at Murcia. Both are served by a number of low cost airlines from various UK airports. Car hire for this holiday is essential to fully experience the delights of the region.

Suitability
The development is wheelchair friendly and suitable for people with disabilities. However, although the property boasts a down-stairs twin bedroom and bathroom, the entrance to the property is accessed by three small steps and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users.
