Entertainment
Some wonderful restaurants and fine dining can be found in La Cala de Mijas, some overlooking the sea. For a real treat try Mijas Playa the best restaurant in La Cala. Saturday nights in the hot summer months of July and August are magical in La Cala, the promenade becomes a festival of classical music and Flamenco dancing. Maybe you might prefer the horse racing at Hipodromo del Sol, located in the hills above La Cala, it offers night-time racing during the summer.
Outside space
Private sun terrace with Rattan-style sofa and armchairs, coffee table and outdoor plants, overlooking shared pool. For those with young children you can take comfort from being able to keep your eye on them from the sun terrace whilst they play at the pool. Complex has beautiful landscaped gardens, full of exotic and fragrant plants. The community benefits from secure gated access with video phone entrance for added security.

Bed linen, tea towels and towels are provided. Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Please bring your own towels for use by the poolside.

Well the Costa del Sol doesn’t have the nickname of ‘Costa del Golf’ for nothing! There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, of which 30 are on the Costa del Sol, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! The apartment overlooks the 18 hole Calanova Golf Course, a great 6415 yards par 72 course.
Restaurants
Some wonderful restaurants and fine dining can be found in La Cala. For a real treat try 'Mijas Playa', which in our opinion is the best restauarant in La Cala. Ensure you pre-book so you are not disappointed.
Distance from airports/ports
La Cala is ideally located for access to both Malaga (20 mins) and Gibraltar (45mins) airports, serviced by Easyjet, RyanAir, BMI Baby, Monarch and many other airlines. Car hire is cheap and highly recommended to enable the traveller to visit the multitude of attractions within an hour's drive of La Cala. We have used Helle Hollis car hire many times and are a member of their Friends & Family club, which provides our guests with discounted car hire rates.

Both the apartment and complex is wheelchair friendly. The apartment can be reached from the underground parking via the elevator, the apartment door has flush thresholds. The complex benefits from permanent ramped access into the apartment block and right down to the poolside. The beach at La Cala de Mijas has full wheelchair facilities including extensive beachside disabled parking, disabled showers & toilets plus decked wheelchair access right to the water's edge.
